Come:Unity Arts is an independent artist led organisation which delivers the arts in inner city communities in Birmingham.
Our artists engage with local residents :: Events to date have included a series of poetry tea parties, we have encouraged story telling in mother tongue languages, delivered art festivals and engaged residents of all ages to create and exhibit their own art. Artwalk is one of our initiatives which has grown out of our community engagement and is all about showcasing Handsworth and the surrounding area.

There may be snow outside but we’re already plotting and planning for Summer 2011!
Last year we had a film screen in Handsworth Park, a poetry tea party and live music on the bandstand. For 2011 do you want more of the same? So far we have had requests for a block party and dhol drum players.
